Parents must always be informed of all materials and styles used for teaching the topic. It must not be taught merely as some act one needs to perform safely devoid of any values. The very young i.e. under elevens, must not be burdened with this discourse so early in their childhood just because society has been allowed to fall into the slippery slope of promiscuity these days. The ultimate person responsible for a child is the parent not the State. Only when a parent has demonstrated that they cannot take that responsibility should the State step in.
