Improving the governance of our schools is a key ambition for all of us, not least in a political environment where fiscal tightening is a serious issue. Modern Governor is a product within the Learning Pool portfolio that seeks to address this need. It is designed to help School Governors develop their skills through e-learning at a time, place and pace that suits their needs.
We’re inviting people from Local Authorities and Governor Services teams to hear first hand how to deliver School Governor training in a climate of efficiencies. More than a third of all Local Authorities in England are saving money and offering a more accessible approach to School Governor training using Modern Governor as part of a blended learning solution.
